Information processed by the app
Depending on how you use Offline Oracle, the app may process:
- Documents and images you select through the macOS file picker.
- Extracted text, search indexes, document details, and conversations created from those files.
- Local workspace account information, settings, and session information.
- Apple subscription entitlement information needed to provide paid features.
- Local error and status information needed to operate the app.
The current Mac App Store edition does not include developer advertising, tracking, or analytics.
Where processing happens
During normal local use, selected documents, extracted text, search data, and conversations are stored and processed on the Mac.
The app includes and manages its local AI server and search model. When chat is first needed, the app asks before downloading an approximately 2 GB chat model from Offline Oracle. The download is verified before installation and stored in app-owned data. Document contents are not sent as part of that model download.
Local processing is a product design goal. macOS services, backups, network settings, user actions, and other software may affect where information is stored or transmitted.
Apple purchases and updates
The Mac App Store edition uses Apple's purchase and subscription systems. Apple processes payments and manages purchase history, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and app updates under Apple's terms and privacy policy.
Offline Oracle receives the entitlement information needed to determine available features. It does not receive full payment-card details.
Storage and deletion
Workspace data remains on the Mac until you delete documents in the app, remove the app's data, or erase it through macOS. Deleting the app may not automatically remove every associated file or backup.

Children
Offline Oracle is not directed to children under 13. Contact the publisher if you believe a child has provided personal information directly to the publisher.
